Lifeline Proplus Science

About the Scientist who Discovered the Stem Cell Formulation

Lifeline ProPlus science is at a “science-rockstar” level. Elena Revazova, M.D., Ph.D was a world-renowned Russian scientist when she lost her young daughter to diabetes. Shortly afterwards, her husband passed away. Alone and determined, Dr. Revazova immigrated to the United States, where she worked as a volunteer research scientist at UCLA. She dedicated every waking moment to finding a cure for diabetes. In the process, she discovered a new class of stem cells that promise to change health care treatments and topical anti-aging skin care therapy.

Dr. Revazova created the first non-embryonic human stem cells. These cells can proliferate and live almost indefinitely. And with this discovery, stem cell cures for incurable diseases like Parkinson’s Disease, liver disease, and blindness now look promising.

Today, Dr. Revazova holds 57 patents, including the patent on the process of creating human stem cell extracts from unfertilized eggs, rather than embryos. The company she founded, International Stem Cell Corporation (ISCO) is the only source for these ground-breaking human non-embryonic stem cell extracts in the exclusive Lifeline® and Lifeline® ProPlus+ Skin Care products. ISCO is also the only company dedicated to maintaining a pro-life position with stem cell research and regenerative therapies. No embryos are ever destroyed in ISCO’s stem cell research.

The Only Source for Skin Care with Non-Embryonic Stem Cell Extracts

The goal at Lifeline® Skin Care is to help improve the look and feel of aging skin. Lifeline® and Lifeline® ProPlus+ Skin Care researchers and formulators combine the latest discoveries in the fields of stem cell biology, nanotechnology, and skin cream formulation technology to create the highest quality, scientifically tested and most effective anti-aging products. Lifeline® and Lifeline® ProPlus+ Stem Cell Extract Serums are the only products in the world that contain human, non-embryonic stem cell extracts.

Furthermore Lifeline ProPlus science involves the use of stem cells which never get let potent-unlike other brands. And to top the no one else does it list Lifeline stem cell skincare products contain the unique magic of using a cellular lysate instead of diluted conditioned media used by all other products including it’s closest competitor, AnteAgeMD.

Human Stem Cells: Non-Embryonic, Embryonic, Adult

Stem cells are the building blocks of the human body — the cells that go to work when the skin needs to repair itself. Skin care products actually contain the peptides, enzymes, cytokines, and growth factors extracted from the stem cells. Scientists have made exciting advances in the use of human stem cells for treating various diseases and for treating the effects of aging skin.

Unfertilized (non-embryonic) human eggs. Only International Stem Cell Corporation (Lifeline®’s parent company) has a patented way to take human eggs and stimulate them to begin dividing, without being fertilized. They’re called parthenogenetic stem cells (“partheno” comes from the Greek word for virgin; and “genetic” means birth). To produce these stem cells, an embryo is never created, so it’s never destroyed—that’s why it’s an ethical approach to creating stem cells.

The unfertilized human eggs (oocytes) come from donors who have harvested their eggs at In Vitro Fertilization clinics (such as Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California). The donors are carefully screened and selected based on their age (must be in their mid-20’s), mental and physical health. The eggs are then “tricked” to begin dividing, and behave just like an embryo in the early stages of division. At this point, the stem cells are considered pluripotent—meaning they are capable of being differentiated into different kinds of human cells. Non-embryonic stem cells are the most potent human stem cells that we can use ethically. Lifeline ProPlus science and results are unmatched!

The Difference Between the Types of Stem Cells Used in Topical Preparations

While the stem cells are still pluripotent, scientists extract growth factors, cytokines, enzymes, and peptides for use in Lifeline® and Lifeline® ProPlus+ stem cell serums. Some of the active peptides are able to mimic the functions of larger proteins.

In vitro (petri dish) studies have found the stem cell extracts in Lifeline® ProPlus+ Skin Care products increase the production of key proteins including collagen, elastin, epidermal and fibroblast growth factors.

Embryonic Stem Cells. These have been suggested as potential therapies for regenerative diseases such as spinal cord injury and tissue damage, and are still in the research stage. A company called National Stem Cell did attempt to use an enzyme from human embryonic stem cells in their skincare line; however that product is no longer available and embryonic stem cells are not currently used for skincare products.

Adult Stem Cells. Adult stem cells are found in many organs and tissues, including the skin. Skin stem cells, for instance, are found near sweat glands and hair follicles, and act when they receive a message from the body to repair the skin. They remain dormant until they are activated by tissue injury or disease. The two most common sources for these adult stem cells are excess skin that has been surgically removed during abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedures or circumcision.

Because they’re several generations away from the source, adult stem cells (such as from skin, blood, fat or bone marrow) are less potent than stem cells closer to the original egg. The growth factors extracted from adult stem cells have considerably less value in creating a proliferation of new skin cells.

Know Where the Stem Cells Come From Before You Buy Skin Care Products

The most potent human stem cells are those active early in life. Lifeline® and Lifeline® ProPlus+ Skin Care uses unfertilized human eggs to create stem cell extracts. This is a critical distinction, and the discovery was patented in 2007. Lifeline ProPlus science patents are airtight – no one else will be doing this anytime soon.

In comparison with other stem cell skin care products, Lifeline® ProPlus+ is an entirely new way to treat wrinkles, age spots, and lack of skin firmness. No more laying a product on top of the skin, hoping it will plump up those wrinkles or bleach those age spots. Lifeline® Skin Care uses nanotechnology to create microscopic molecules which penetrate the skin, delivering stem cell extracts to the layers of skin where collagen and elastin are made. That’s right – it’s the only stem cell product which delivers the goods right to the dermis due to the smallness of the particles within the serums.

There, the stem cell extracts communicate with your skin cells. The result is a proliferation of new skin cells. You will see, based on scientific studies, a 77% reduction in wrinkle length and depth in 3 months. You will see lifting, firmness, toning, brightness, and skin that behaves like it did years prior to beginning usage of these ProPlus+ products. 90% of study participants noticed firmer, tighter skin. 59% noticed a visible reduction of lines and wrinkles. 87% said that they felt that their appearance was noticeably improved.
